Nox AT10 Luxury Genius 18K Alum Agustin Tapia

TeardropMediumBalance medium360–375 g

The Nox AT10 Luxury Genius 18K Alum Agustin Tapia is the all-round option in the AT10 range: a teardrop shape, a medium feel and 360–375 g. It makes more sense for players who want quick handling and a varied game than for those who mainly look to win points overhead.

THE ANALYSIS, IN CONTEXT

What this racket offers

In the reference ratings, its highest score is handling at 9.5/10, followed by sweet spot at 9/10. Control and easy power both reach 8.5/10, while power sits at 8/10. Nox presents it in the same way, as a racket for technical players who do not want to give up either power or control.

Strengths

  • Very easy to manoeuvre when preparing the racket.
  • A generous sweet spot makes effective contact easier.
  • Good control for directing the ball.

Who it suits

On paper, it suits players who spend a lot of time at the net and need to prepare quickly: consecutive volleys, blocks and balls aimed at the body, where being on time matters more than hitting hard. The handling score points that way, and the 9/10 sweet spot suggests some margin when contact is not perfectly clean.

It is also a sensible candidate if you want a well-spread profile, with no single attribute defining your game. None of its five ratings falls below 8/10, so it works as a starting point for comparison if you are not yet sure what you want to change.

When to look elsewhere

If your game relies on smashes and constant pressure from above, look first at the AT10 Genius Attack 18K Alum 2026. It has a diamond shape and Nox lists it with a high balance. In the reference ratings it rises to 9.5/10 for power, at the cost of dropping to 8/10 for handling and sweet spot.

This is not a light racket either: the published range is 360–375 g. If you are moving from a lighter model, check the weight of your individual racket, because overgrip and a protector add to it.

18K, 12K or the previous edition

The AT10 12K Alum Xtrem 2026 shares its shape and weight range. Nox suggests it if you prefer a firmer response and want more power, and keeps the 18K for players seeking a balance of control and power with more comfort. The reference ratings also give the 12K more power, at 9/10.

Compared with the 2025 18K, Nox describes this one as an evolution with 2026 technology and a new mould. The ratings we hold for both editions match, which does not make them the same racket: it only shows that those references do not capture the difference.

Nox has also presented a 2027 version. This page covers the 2026 edition, so check the year before comparing.

What to know about the construction

It combines Carbon Fiber 18K Alum faces, an MLD Black EVA core and a carbon-fibre frame. According to Nox, it includes the Dual Spin surface and the Weight Balance system, with interchangeable 2 g and 4 g counterweights for adjusting the racket. The medium balance on this page is therefore a general reference: your setup can change it.

A note on the name: according to Nox, Tapia’s racket for 2026 is the 12K Alum Xtrem, and this 18K is the evolution of the one he used in 2025. If you want his exact model for this season, that is the one to look at.
