A better choice starts with better information.
MyPadelPick brings together racket specifications, indicative ratings and professional equipment to help you compare. Our initial analyses are documentary: we have not tested these rackets on court.
How to read the ratings
We bring together external editorial ratings for power, control, easy power, handling and sweet spot. Each profile belongs to a specific model and edition, with all five attributes on a 0–10 scale. When a value is absent from the source, we mark it as unavailable. We do not derive ratings from materials, shape or rubber firmness.
These are provisional external editorial references, not MyPadelPick measurements. The comparison displays them as circles: an 8 fills 80% of the circle. Individual racket pages use vertical bars on the same scale. We will review this approach when we define and validate our own system. A higher rating does not make a racket the best for everyone.
The score shown in search
The comparison and Finder selectors show the arithmetic mean of power, control, easy power, handling and sweet spot: each attribute has equal weight. It is calculated only when all five values are available and rounded to one decimal. Otherwise, we show “Rating pending” instead of an average. This is an indicative summary of the attributes, not our own measurement, and it does not determine Finder suitability.
How we order the catalogue
The catalogue starts with popularity: an editorial selection combining documented popularity signals and verified retail collections of the ten highest-ranked men and women in the FIP ranking of 2 November 2026. The popularity signals were checked on 4 November 2026; we do not have audited worldwide sales figures or a global ranking of units sold.
Inclusion in Top Sellers contributes 60 ordering points; a professional collection contributes 10 × (11 − FIP position), using the best position associated with that exact edition. Both signals are added. Ties are resolved by season, attribute average and name. These points only order the catalogue: they are not a technical rating and do not change the scores. Professional associations apply only to the documented edition and season; retail rackets may differ from custom competition equipment.
“Top rated” selects rackets averaging at least 8.5 out of 10 across all five playing attributes and sorts them from highest to lowest. Missing scores exclude a racket from that selection. You can sort by power or control using the available reference ratings.
How the Finder works
It compares your current racket’s attributes with the improvements you prioritise and the qualities you want to retain. Ranking combines those preferences with level and available data. It excludes your current model from alternatives and explains identified trade-offs. Insufficient data lowers confidence or excludes a candidate.
Initial weights are 45% for improvements, 30% for qualities to keep and 25% for your profile. They are redistributed when a component does not apply. This is documentary guidance with reproducible rules, not a replacement for trying a racket. Commissions do not influence ranking.
Models, seasons and sources
We preserve the edition and source specifications. Weights may vary between individual rackets. Professional equipment is documented using brand sources and distinguishes documented use from an official collection. A new-season product may be used before its commercial year.
Independence and updates
We currently earn no sales commissions. Embedded videos belong to their creators. Our initial catalogue was prepared on 4 November 2026; manufacturer checks and source expansion remain part of our editorial work.
Community stars
When community sign-in is available, each user can rate a model from 1 to 5 stars and write about their experience. The reviews section shows its availability. The average uses only approved reviews; no score appears when there are none. Confirmed colour variants of the same model share reviews.
These stars are separate from the documentary attributes on the 0–10 scale. Negative feedback is not rejected because of its rating. Editing a published review returns the new version to moderation before it contributes to the average.
